Terms of use

Consilium is a free service that helps students compare and choose admissions consultancies. We are not a consultancy ourselves, we don't give admissions advice, and we can't promise any admissions result.

Listings come from information that consultancies publish and from independent public sources, which we link. It can be incomplete or out of date, so check the details with a consultancy before you pay it.

You sign in with Google. Keep your Google account secure: what happens under your sign-in is your responsibility. Don't misuse the service, for example by copying the directory in bulk, overloading it, or posting false information.

• Shortlists and the Top 50 follow fixed, published rules. See how we match.
• Payment never changes a ranking, a fit score or the Consilium Index. Paid places are always labelled Sponsored.
• We show public ratings and reviews from other sites, with links. We don't remove reviews for payment and don't accept payment for positive reviews. Anyone can report a review that looks fake or abusive, free of charge, and we check it on its merits.

• Consultancies can claim their listing. We check that the person claiming it represents the firm before we approve it.
• The plans (Verified listing, Homepage featured and Advertiser) cost $5 per 3 months or $15 per year, in US dollars. Any applicable tax is added at checkout.
• Plans renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from your partner dashboard (Manage billing or cancel). Your plan then stays on until the end of the period you've paid for.
• Payments aren't refunded. See the refund policy.
• The Verified badge means we've checked a firm's business details. It isn't a judgement of quality, and a plan makes a firm eligible for it rather than guaranteeing it.
• We can refuse or remove a listing, a profile text or a Sponsored place that breaks these terms or misleads students. If we end a plan because the firm broke these terms, no refund is due.

Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, our Merchant of Record. Dodo Payments handles the transaction, the receipt and any sales tax, and its own terms apply to the payment. We never see your full card details.

Consilium is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we aren't responsible for decisions you make using it, or for the services consultancies provide. For a paid plan, our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights that the law where you live gives you.

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and using Consilium after a change means you accept it. Questions: support@consiliumglobaledu.consulting.
